Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in shredded coconut.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
