  • 1 cup Chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 16-ounce Spaghetti
  • 1 15-ounce Canned diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the spaghetti, diced tomatoes, water, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the spaghetti is cooked through.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or carrots. You can also add a can of kidney beans or black beans for extra protein.
