Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
Melt chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave.
Stir in vanilla and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add chocolate mixture to egg mixture, mixing until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
