Ingredients
  

Shortcake

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream

Topping

  • 2 cups Fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 cup Whipped cream

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in heavy cream until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons into muffin tin.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before removing from muffin tin.
  • Top with fresh berries and whipped cream.
