Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Press crescent roll dough into a greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet to form a crust.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain off any excess grease. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water (if packet requires).
Spread the cooked taco meat evenly over the crescent roll crust.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the taco meat.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, black olives, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and salsa.
Slice and serve immediately.
