Instructions
Preparation Steps
Season the beef stew meat with salt and pepper.
Coat the beef in flour.
Brown the beef in olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
Pour in the beef broth, add carrots and potatoes, and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for at least 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
Notes
Serve hot with crusty bread.
