  • 1.5 lbs Beef Stew Meat
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Diced carrots
  • 1 cup Diced potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Season the beef stew meat with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the beef in flour.
  • Brown the beef in olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  • Pour in the beef broth, add carrots and potatoes, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for at least 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Notes

Serve hot with crusty bread.
